Sometimes I get frustrated. I want to run a program that’s effective, student-centered and easy to manage. I want a program that’s logical, organized, and sequential. I want a program that’s FUN! And I have trouble finding that sometimes. This has led me to develop entire sets of curricula to meet specific needs. And I’ll share! Here’s what I’ve got so far:
- Study Skills: This 9 week program is designed for use in a middle school classroom or lower level high school classroom. There are 45 lessons that introduce, explain, practice and maintain important skills for school success, like goal-setting, planning, time management, research, and presentation. The course covers logical thinking, support, and more. And it’s designed to fit into a 9-week marking period! Course has been tested in a middle school classroom with great success and high marks.
- Summer Studies: This is a four-day-a-week, five week program designed to review core skills (with Common Core connections) for students from K through middle school and remedial high school levels. Activities are designed for small, mixed-age groups of students in a summer program running on a shoestring (as I know most of you are). We can tease out various grade levels to make the curriculum fit your program like a glove.
- Religious Programming: Running a Vacation Bible School or a Sunday program? I’ve got rotation-based activities for elementary students that can be adapted to several core values. Let’s talk!
